1. Data controller

AppGast is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website, based in the Argentine Republic.

If you have questions about this policy or want to exercise any of your rights, write to us at info@appgast.com.

2. Data we collect

This is an institutional and service-presentation website. There is no account registration, purchasing, or customer profiling here.

When you use the Contact form, we collect the data you fill in: name, email address, phone number, and the message you send.

When the form is submitted, anti-spam validation is also performed with Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise (see section 5).

We do not automatically collect other personally identifiable information. The site does not use its own session identifiers or browsing profiles without your consent.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We use contact data solely to reply to the inquiry you send us. That processing is the minimum necessary to handle your request, and it is not used for targeting or for unsolicited communications.

Cookies and measurement tools are used for the following purposes: necessary and functional cookies, for the site to work (language, currency, your privacy choice, and anti-spam protection); and analytics cookies, to understand in aggregate how the site is used, only if you give us your explicit consent (see section 6 and the Cookie policy).

We do not sell personal data, do not transfer data to third parties for advertising purposes, and do not use marketing cookies.

4. Contact form

Inquiries are sent by email to info@appgast.com. They are not stored in databases or loaded into CRM systems.

Once an inquiry is handled, the corresponding email is deleted. We do not apply additional retention periods.

We recommend that you do not include sensitive information (documents, health data, passwords, or other personal information unrelated to the inquiry) in your message.

Handling your inquiry is not subject to automated decision-making.

5. Anti-spam validation (reCAPTCHA Enterprise)

The contact form is protected with Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise (action “contact”) to prevent automated or abusive submissions.

When you fill in the form, Google reCAPTCHA processes the information needed to validate the request, under its own terms and privacy policy, and may store cookies such as “_GRECAPTCHA” for security purposes.

Anti-spam validation is a necessary function of the form; that data is not used for marketing purposes.

6. Cookies and measurement tools

This website uses necessary and functional cookies, and analytics cookies on an opt-in basis through the consent system.

Without your consent, Google Analytics scripts are not loaded, no “_ga” cookies are set, and no browsing data is sent. If you decline, any previously stored analytics cookies are removed.

When you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects usage information in aggregate (pages visited, traffic source, approximate device). We do not use user identifiers or data that could identify you, and we do not use personalized advertising.

You will find the full breakdown of every cookie in the Cookie policy. You can manage or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie preferences” button in the footer.

7. Language and currency by market (geolocation)

To offer the default language and currency according to the visitor's country, the server uses the countries.dev service, which determines the country from the IP address.

The IP address is sent to countries.dev for that purpose only. AppGast does not store the IP address or the service's full response. No cookies or profiles are created from that lookup.

You can manually change the language and currency at any time using the site selectors.

8. Third parties

Data may be processed by the following third parties, each with its own terms and privacy policies:

• Google LLC — reCAPTCHA Enterprise (anti-spam protection of the form) and Google Analytics 4 (measurement, only with your consent). Data sent to Google Analytics may be processed by Google on servers located outside Argentina.
• countries.dev — country determination from the IP address, with no storage by AppGast.

9. Your rights

You may request access to, correction, deletion, portability, and restriction of the processing of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time (for example, by disabling analytics cookies).

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@appgast.com. We will handle your request within a reasonable time.

If you believe your data has not been processed in accordance with applicable law, you may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

10. Retention and security

Inquiries received by email are deleted once handled. Your consent decision is stored in the “appgast_consent” cookie for 180 days and expires automatically, at which point you are asked again.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information (for example, encryption in transit via HTTPS). No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Minors

This website is aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we detect that this has happened, we will delete the corresponding information.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the site or regulations evolve. Changes will be published on this page with the last-updated date.
